No problem! Body or facial hair is also welcomed and accepted.

Make sure hair is clean before cutting 10 strands at least 0.5 inches in length. If the hair is shorter, please provide 20 - 25 strands.

Cut 10 strands from the nape of the neck, as close to the root as possible. (This area is recommended for minimal cosmetic visibility.) When the hair is cut if measures longer than 0.5 inches, trim it down — measuring from the root first (very important.)

If you’re collecting from the body:
You can shave or cut a small sample and place it directly into the provided test tube.

Make sure the hair is clean, dry, and free from any styling or metallic products before sending it in. Using a razor or scissors to cut your sample is perfectly acceptable.
